University admission and student visa

Studying in Germany need not mean paying for it. Both founders came through Germany's scholarship system themselves: Dr Sarker as a DAAD scholar for his Master's, Dr Polas as a KAAD scholar for his PhD. The advice here comes from people who have written the applications, won the funding, and know how the committees actually read them.
How we help
We match you to the funding you can realistically win, plan the timeline backwards from the deadline, and prepare the parts that decide the outcome: the study or research proposal, the motivation letter, the CV, and the academic references. For doctoral and foundation applications we work on the research fit and the case for why you, which is what selection committees weigh most heavily.
We coach and prepare your application. We do not sell guaranteed scholarships, and anyone who does is misleading you — the committees decide, not agents.

- Deutschlandstipendium — €300/month merit scholarship awarded through participating German universities.
- Erasmus+ / Erasmus Mundus — EU-funded joint Master's programmes and exchange mobility.
PhD and doctoral research
- DAAD Research Grants — doctoral and postdoctoral funding, with full-doctorate grants aimed at applicants from developing and emerging countries.
- KAAD (Catholic Academic Exchange Service) — Master's, PhD and research funding for scholars from developing and emerging countries; applications go through in-country partner committees.
- Alexander von Humboldt Foundation — research fellowships for postdoctoral and experienced researchers.

Funded project
Wrote the concept note and drafted the full proposal for the Bangladesh Forest Department's SUFAL Innovation Grant, which was funded and delivered, with Dr Sarker as co-researcher (2022–2025).

Research funding
Developed and drafted research funding proposals for five German and international funders at the Chair of Forest and Nature Conservation Policy, Göttingen (2021–2022). Funder rules restricted formal submission to a named principal investigator in each case; one of these proposals was successful.

Dr Pradip Kumar Sarker
Founder · Forest and environmental governance
PhD, University of Göttingen (2021), in forest and environmental governance and policy, following an M.Sc. in Tropical and International Forestry at the same university. Guest Researcher at the Chair of Forest and Nature Conservation Policy in Göttingen, with more than twenty peer-reviewed publications on multilevel governance, comparative forest policy and institutional analysis. Co-supervises a doctoral candidate at the Department of Zoology, University of Dhaka. Also trained in data science and in ESG reporting under CSRD, ESRS and the EU Taxonomy; works in Python, SQL, R and QGIS.
Dr Md Abul Bashar Polas
Co-founder · Landscape and agricultural sciences
Doctorate in Agricultural Sciences (Dr. agr.), University of Kassel (2026), with an M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Cologne and degrees in Agricultural Economics from Bangladesh Agricultural University. Published in Forest Policy and Economics, Restoration Ecology, Ecology and Society and Ecosystems and People, on participatory mapping, restoration and human–nature relations in the Sundarbans and in European agricultural landscapes. Works in R, QGIS and MAXQDA.
